I may have made a mistake.
I have a co-worker of who is very attractive and a very close friend of mine. She is absolutely fantastic. Shes funny and incredibly intelligent and her and I hang out quite a bit. We’re into the same things and have quite the same outlook on life and social standings. I mean honestly, this woman is me but 20 years older. We are into all of the same things and we get along great.
Now, I know that Im not an expert on love or anything in that respect. I wouldnt even say Im an amateur at emotional connections. But there is something about her that is just…God damn it.
I may be in love with her. We were talking about marriage today and on my way home from work I couldnt stop thinking about how all I really want to do is get a VW bus and travel cross country with her for the rest of my life. Its one of those things where you meet someone and you know that no matter what they are going to be involved in your life in some form. The thing is, I dont think I would mind if she was involved in my life a bit more.
Damn it.
